CHILD TRAFFICKING AND CHILD ABUSE HAS TO COME TO AN END.

Trafficking in children is a global problem affecting large numbers of children. Some estimates have as many as 1.2 million children being trafficked every year. There is a demand for trafficked children as cheap labour or for sexual exploitation. Children and their families are often unaware of the dangers of trafficking, believing that better employment and lives lie in other countries.

Palestinian youth: Choosing death over occupation



The young Palestinian attackers in this recent wave of violence defy classification.

They have been both male and female; political and apolitical; affluent and poor.

But it seems clear they did have at least one thing in common: they knew the consequence of their actions would most likely be death.

Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons speaks to some of their families and friends in the occupied East Jerusalem.
