Man throws three daughters in pond, two die
Muzaffarnagar: A man, suspected to be mentally ill, threw his three daughters in a pond in Saharanpur district, police said here today.
The incident occurred in village Mohibuddinpur last night when Kadir threw three daughters in the pond situated nearby his house. Two of his daughters drowned, while one of them survived, they said.
The bodies of Arisha (3) and Arsha (4) were fished out, while the eldest daughter Ayysha (7) was saved.
The father is absconding after the incident, police said.
