Poverty In India...
Poverty is one of the most attention-able situation of any country. Poverty means living the life below the poverty line. One having difficulties in survival; struggling for the fulfillment of the basic needs (food, water and shelter) faces the situation called poverty. Poverty is a shameful situation for any independent country whether it be industrial country or not.
BHUTAN is the worst effected country of the world having difficulties even for survival. Such countries have to depend on other countries for their economical condition. Talking about INDIA no doubt INDIA is developing day by day and joining hands with the most economical and industrial countries but it is also not left behind for facing such a situation. After getting Independence poverty is obvious but after 60 years of independence still poverty?
The main cause of poverty is ill literacy. INDIA is rural country and villages are not yet developed in India; especially women are unable to get education. Second main cause of poverty is increasing population day by day and INDIA ranked second in this line but population is not the major problem if so then China must be the poorest country. Increased values are also responsible for poverty. Middle class are unable to fulfill all the requirements of high society.
UNEMPLOYMENT also paved way for poverty. Although all the political parties or Govt. promises to provide employment yet it is not fulfilled. INDIRA SARKAR gives country slogan “Garibi Hataoo” (Remove Poverty). Congress party promises to provide 1 crore employment every year but it does not work at all.
Poverty can be removed by awareness. The only thing which is required is AWARENESS in people. People must know the value of education and political parties must be honest so that the future of India can be secured and INDIA must join hand with the developed & modern industrial countries.
