Pakistan, US, India face common enemy: Holbrooke

Pakistan, US, India face common enemy: Holbrooke

US special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke

ISLAMABAD: US special representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan, Richard Holbrooke on Sunday said that Pakistan, the United States and India face a common enemy.

Arriving for a two-day visit in Pakistan, Holbrooke told the media that some extremist organisations in Pakistan had attacked US forces in Afghanistan.

Holbrooke said that Pakistan, America and India must together face the enemies responsible for terrorism. He said that Pakistan did not have enough resources for a military operation in North Waziristan and therefore the Pakistan Army would itself decide when it was ready to launch an operation.
