KARIMNAGAR: Even as a majority of students are chilling out in their holidays, the students of Society for Promotion of Academic Excellence in Schools (SPAES) of Telangana region are busy participating in the Students Enrichment Programme (SEP) at the Manair High School in Karimnagar.
The three-day SEP programmes were inaugurated by SPAES founder president and MLC Chukka Ramaiah on Sunday. During this programme, a total of 350 students from about 19 SPAES institutions of Telangana region have attended to undergo special education and revision of their specially prepared modules in maths, chemistry and physics.
Experts M.N. Raju, BHVSSS Vasu and S Gayathri Devi (mathematics), G Ramesh Kumar and A Sri Hari (Physics) and Ch Radhakrishna Murthy and G Shivaram (chemistry) have conducted special classes to clarify various doubts of the students at the SEP event. Besides, the Manair High School correspondent K Anantha Reddy had made all arrangements for the success of the event by organizing entertainment programmes for the children and conduct of yoga and meditation classes during the morning and evening sessions. Students said that they were excited to participate in SEP programme as it had helped them know every minute detail about the subjects and various new formulas in the maths. “What do we do in holidays, except for watching TV or playing games? Here at SEP, we have lots of fun and simultaneously learning the subjects with the expert guidance”, they said. They also said that they were never regretted missing the holidays as the school had provided all facilities for their education and entertainment simultaneously during the three-day camp.
