CHILD TRAFFICKING  AND CHILD ABUSE HAS TO COME TO AN END.

Trafficking in children is a global problem affecting large numbers of children. Some estimates have as many as 1.2 million children being trafficked every year. There is a demand for trafficked children as cheap labour or for sexual exploitation. Children and their families are often unaware of the dangers of trafficking, believing that better employment and lives lie in other countries.

School clarifies on wall collapse

The management of Esperanza school has clarified that it was not the school compound wall that collapsed leading to the death of a woman in Singadikunta of Banjara hills on Tuesday. Referring to a news item published in these columns, the school management said in a statement that the woman died after a wall belonging to a government land adjacent to the school collapsed.
